Häufige Fragen

Warum braucht Jero vollen Kalenderzugriff?

Was bedeuten die Konflikte?

Frequently asked questions

Why does Jero need full calendar access? The app has to read your events to find free time, and it adds planned blocks to its own calendar “Anlaufstelle”. It never changes other events. Without access you can still capture tasks; they just won't be scheduled. To grant access later: iOS Settings › Apps › Jero › Calendars › Full Access.

No blocks appear under “Today”. Check calendar access (see above) and your working hours (Settings › Working hours). Planning only happens within your working hours and the planning horizon (Settings › Planning). Pull down the list under “Today” to replan.

What do the conflicts mean? A conflict means a task won't fit before its deadline, is overdue, or can't be placed in one piece. The note suggests what to do (e.g. move the deadline, make the task splittable).

How do I move my data to a new iPhone? If you're signed in with the same Apple Account and iCloud is on for Jero, tasks, habits and settings sync automatically. Alternatively: Settings › Export tasks (.ics) and import the file on the new device.

Does the app work offline? Yes. Planning, the inbox and reminders run entirely on the device. Only iCloud sync and the optional cloud intelligence need a connection.

How do I delete all data? Settings › Delete all data. This removes tasks, habits and the blocks in the “Anlaufstelle” calendar; other events stay.

Siri / Shortcuts: “Add to Jero” puts a sentence into the inbox; “Next block in Jero” tells you what's planned next.
